How to Texas Rig

When it comes to Texas rigging for bass there is really only one way to get started, a 7″ Berkley Power Worm, 3/0 VMC Fastgrip Wide-Gap Hook, and a 1/4oz bullet weight. Many anglers will opt for the worm hook due to its thinner profile but we sway towards to stouter wide-gap variety, either way you go it still rigs the same.

Rigging a Texas Rig includes just a few steps to get ready, check out our illustration above and let us know how this rig works for you out on the water!

  1. My trout rig differs significantly from this and I appreciate how clear these instructions were, and the pictures were very helpful
