Bob is the founder of Bad Poncho Outdoors and takes care of the day-to-day operations of the group. Bad Poncho Outdoors was started with the idea that would unite new anglers and hunters with those who have been involved in the industry for a lifetime. With a history in the Information Technology field Bob designed and maintains everything that is Bad Poncho Outdoors, from the website to the email. Hoping for a bright future for the company Bob is constantly looking for the next way to create a solid community.
Rob is the co-founder of Bad Poncho Outdoors and is the initial investor in the group. When the group was formed Rob decided to back his son in this endeavor in order to attempt to get out of a very physically intensive construction and restoration job. Rob is also the founder of Mid-Michigan Painting, a successful painting company based out of Kalamazoo, MI. With 20 years in the field and self-taught skills Rob is always looking forward to teaching new outdoorsmen skills that will last a lifetime.
I don’t believe that I will be the best, I don’t believe that I will win the classic one day. I KNOW I’m going to. I am not one to give up and I do not take this great sport lightly. I love the peace it brings to me. I will be fishing the N.C. B.A.S.S. Weekend Series this year and will be backed by my great sponsors (DLW Lures, RVC Crankbaits, BadPoncho Outdoors, and Lews). I don’t think I would have even gotten this far without my God and my supportive family and friends. Just wait world of fishing, for one day, I WILL be on your screen and on that stage. Get ready for the Smackdown!
Scott MacConnell is a young fisherman from Massachusetts that has been fishing his whole life but got truly hooked a few years ago. He caught on fast and focused all of his time and money into fishing, either out on his home lake fishing or doing internet research or researching his own lake by diving to find structure or studying the natural forage of the lake. He is very fortunate to have his own boat that was given to him at age twelve. He fishes all of the youth trails he can along with many local pickup and partner tournaments. He has always had a passion for the outdoors and will do anything he can to get out on the lake. His fishing strengths are primarily finesse strategies such as small jigs and texas rigs and he loves dock fishing. He has had multiple large fish on his line but the largest landed was a 6 lber with a very unfortunate escape of an 8 that haunts him to today. He has had great help from his excellent sponsors, PowerTeam Lures and Bad Poncho Outdoors along with his father helping him with his boat

In 2004, than, MSgt. Jake Davis retired from the US Air Force and my Better half Kerrie, settled down in a rural community not far from middle Tennessee’s southern border. Then drawing on my professional training in Business Management and Marketing, as well as bass tournament competitor and director experience spanning 25 plus years, I joined Current River MFG/Secret Weapon Lures/Assassinator Baits as Prostaff Director. In May 2005, I became the VP of Business Development…After four years of tackle shows, media events, radio and having set that company on a trajectory to become one of the premiere fishing tackle manufacturers in the southeast US. My better half (Kerrie) knew I was missing my time on the water and understood I really liked guiding part time…it was time to guided full time!
