Comfort Inn Lives Up To Its Name

When planning our trip to the Bassmaster Classic, the biggest show in fishing, we had to find a place to call home for a week. We wanted somewhere between Tulsa, where the show was being held and Grove, where the lake they would be fishing is located. Claremore was the perfect choice for its location and the Comfort Inn was a great choice for the simple fact that it always feels like home.

OK207A1The Comfort Inn in Claremore didn’t disappoint, the décor and amenities are very similar to those we have stayed in all over the country that really makes our time away from home seem like we are not far from home at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, it was as if we had stayed with them many times before.

Now let’s talk about the amenities that mean a lot to us; when we are on the road the most important is the breakfast. The breakfast was awesome, fresh made waffles really make a great start to the day and not having to leave the hotel to get hot fresh food is a big bonus. Hot sausage gravy and biscuits were featured one morning of our stay and it was delicious. They also had scrambled eggs, cereal and sweet rolls available so there was something for everyone. Oh and we can’t forget the bacon, nothing says good morning and welcome like the smell of bacon and fresh brewed coffee as you approach the breakfast bar.

The convenient location of things like washer and dryer, iron, microwave and things like that made taking care of yourself as simple as possible. The stores we needed to keep all our gear running were within walking distance and food wasn’t hard to find.

The common areas were comfortable and allowed us plenty of time to share stories with guests and fans old and new. The way the staff would smile and say hi as you walk pass them goes a long way when you are far from home. All the fans of Bad Poncho Outdoors and Bassmaster had a nice stay good job Comfort Inn.
