Bassmaster Elite Series Fantasy Fishing: Lake Falcon

fantasy fishing falcon

The Elite series guys are fishing back-to-back weeks this week and that means some fast and furious fantasy fishing advice so let’s jump into it!

Falcon is known as an electronics technician’s dream so my picks this week revolve around guys knowing their systems inside and out.

Group A: Aaron Martens

Aaron is known as being the guy to fish offshore structure and succeed. Being from California that isn’t a major surprise though with all of their deep waters Martens should be able to translate his vast experience and knowledge to place well on Falcon doing what he loves best.

Group B: Mark Davis

Mark Davis is coming back from an offseason wrist surgery and looks to be in award winning shape. Confidence is key on the water and it looks like Davis has his confidence back in a big way. The fish over on Falcon should be on a spawn/post-spawn pattern, this should work toward the deep-structure tactician’s advantage.

Group C: Jason Williamson

The “Tower of Power” finished eighth in 2008 which translates into some good feelings and a little hop in his step as he heads off to his favorite lake. Williamson is a deep structure specialist from South Carolina that should be able to hold his own on Falcon. I’m not saying he’ll win, I’m just thinking a top ten.

Group D: Kurt Dove

Local guide and local guy Kurt Dove perhaps has the best chance of actually leaving with a big check. Though Dove had a not-so-great finish in 2008 Dove should be able to make something happen this week and impress all of us on his home water.

Group E: Kevin Hawk

I’ll start by saying the dude just has a cool name, not only that but Hawk comes from California the home of fishing with electronics and deep structure fishing. He may be in the bottom of the barrel as far as Fantasy Fishing goes but if you take a peek at his past lakes like Falcon lend themselves well to his style.
