The days are counting down to the Bassmaster Classic and we couldn’t be more pumped about it! Not only are we excited for the Classic but we are also more than ready for the pre-Classic trip to Arkansas.
We will be spending three days with the guys over at the Duck Camp Fishing Retreat in Springdale, Arkansas with BPO staffer Jason Cossey of J&B Guide Service. After a few months of ice we are more than ready to head down to Arkansas in search of some big ol’ southern largemouth.
If you would be interested in checking out the Duck Camp feel free! The Duck Camp is open year round and is situated on Lake Elmdale, a 200 acre lake. Jason Cossey is the official guide over there and we are more than happy to have him on board the Bad Poncho boat. Offering everything you need to get away from it all for just $40 a night the Duck Camp is the perfect getaway, be sure to bring a bed roll though!
After a few days at the Duck Camp we’re Tulsa bound though we will be staying at the Comfort Inn in Claremore, Oklahoma which is situated between the launch point and Tulsa itself. We will be arriving on Thursday the 21st; we are looking forward to seeing you there!
Friday the 22nd brings us the first day of the Bassmaster Classic, bright and early at 9am CST we will begin putting up pictures from the Expo, a full 3 hours before the public gets a peek! These pictures will be available on our Facebook page so hit the “like” button to follow us!
At the expo itself we will be booth hopping between our friends, their booth numbers are as follows:
While we will be showing you the latest and greatest in new products the anglers will be duking it out on the lake, every day we will be updating our website with coverage of the event along with more detailed images of the Expo’s many great products that are just waiting to be announced. Before the Classic hits be sure to sign up for our Fantasy Fishing league and put in your entry!
As I wrap this up I would like to make our own Classic teaser. We will be bringing you more coverage of the fishing world via two new sources; we will even be teaming up with a strong new website to do so! Stay “tuned” for that!
